Where Ettinger is ahead
Ettinger holds a Royal Warrant, "By Appointment to HM King Charles III", first granted in 1996 and renewed in 2024, and makes its leather goods in its UK factory in Walsall. This belt is handmade from calf leather with a natural nubuck back, which Ettinger says will "acquire a beautiful patina over time". It has a solid brass buckle with a rounded edge and comes in four colours, including dark brown and dark tan, against two for the Prestige. Where Emery is ahead
The Prestige is AED 525 cheaper. It's vegetable-tanned full-grain cowhide from LWG-certified tanneries, with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel buckle. Ettinger describes its belt as "the finest calf leather" and doesn't state the grade. Sizing works differently: with the Prestige you pick your waist size from 32 to 44 inches.
