Most leather goods brands selling in the UAE give you 30 days or less to return an item, and 3 of the 13 we checked don't state a warranty on their site at all. We read the warranty and returns pages of 13 brands that sell wallets, bags and belts to UAE buyers, and put the terms side by side.

The short answer
- Returns windows: from a 3-day request window (Vonto) to 100 days (Emery, and Ryoko on its policy page). 30 days was the most common, at 4 brands.
- 9 of 13 brands give 30 days or less. Jafferjees doesn't refund or exchange online sales at all.
- Warranties: 3 brands don't state one (Jafferjees, Nappa Dori, Vonto). The rest run from 1 year (Kaizer, Maverick & Co.) to lifetime (Emery, Carl Friedrik, and Grams28 except card holders).
- Return shipping: at 9 brands, including Emery, you pay to send back a change-of-mind return. From the UAE that's US$45 at Lundi Paris and £30 at Carl Friedrik.
- Personalised pieces: 6 brands say they can't be returned, Emery included.

Example: you buy a AED 400 travel wallet from a UK or French brand and it doesn't suit you. At Lundi Paris you'd pay US$45 to send it back from the UAE, and duties aren't refunded. At Carl Friedrik a refund costs £30, but an exchange is free. Check the return cost before you order, not after.
What we found
- Short returns windows are normal. 9 of the 13 brands give 30 days or less, and the shortest is Vonto, where you must request a return within 3 days.
- A warranty isn't a given. Jafferjees, Nappa Dori and Vonto don't state a warranty on their UAE sites. Of the 10 that do, 3 offer lifetime cover.
- "Lifetime" has fine print. Carl Friedrik covers functional faults, Grams28 excludes card holders, and Emery covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear.
- Sending it back usually costs you. 9 brands charge the buyer for a change-of-mind return, Emery included. Only exchanges are free at Emery and Carl Friedrik.
- Pages can disagree. Ryoko's refund policy page says 100 days, while its product pages say 15 days.
- Personalised items are final. Emery, Ettinger, Grams28, Jafferjees, Montblanc and Ryoko say personalised pieces can't be returned.
Watch out: a long returns window means little if the return costs more than you'd save. For an item shipped from Europe, add the return shipping and any duties that aren't refunded before you count on getting your money back.
Check before you buy: how many days you have and from when (purchase or delivery); whether it must be unused with tags; who pays return shipping; whether duties come back on a refund; what the warranty covers and for how long; and whether a personalised or sale item can be returned.

We read each brand's own warranty, returns and delivery pages, on its UAE site where it has one, between 24 and 28 Oct 2026. We didn't use retailers, marketplaces or third-party summaries. Where a brand's pages disagree, we show both. Terms change: we re-check every row within 3 months and update the date here.
