If you're choosing between the Emery Alden RFID Card Case and the Lundi Paris Karl, you're looking at two slim leather card holders with a central pocket for notes. The Karl has six card slots, comes in four colours and can be engraved. The Alden costs AED 35 less, has five card slots and RFID protection, and comes with a lifetime warranty, 100 days to return or exchange it and free delivery across the GCC.
We make the Alden, so we're not neutral. Everything below comes from what each brand publishes on its own website, and we've included where Lundi Paris comes out ahead.

Where Lundi Paris is ahead
The Karl holds one more card, with six slots and a central pocket, and Lundi Paris publishes its exact size: 10 × 8 × 0.5 cm. It comes in four colours, including navy and cognac, against two for the Alden, and you can have it laser-engraved anywhere for AED 79, which makes it an easy gift. Lundi Paris also has other shapes if you prefer them: the Louis, with a pull strap that lifts up to six cards, and the folding Luke, which holds up to eight.
Where Emery is ahead
The Alden is AED 35 cheaper, and the gap is wider once delivery is counted: Lundi Paris charges US$20 on orders under US$160, which includes a Karl on its own. The Alden has RFID protection, so contactless cards can't be read at close range; Lundi Paris doesn't mention RFID for the Karl. It's vegetable-tanned full-grain chèvre, a goat leather with a fine pebbled grain that hides scratches, from LWG-certified tanneries. Lundi Paris describes the Karl's leather as smooth and semi-vegetable tanned ("cuir lisse au tannage semi-végétal"). Our leather glossary explains the terms.
The terms differ most. Emery's warranty on the Alden is lifetime, against 2 years. You have 100 days to return or exchange it, against 14, and sending a Lundi Paris order back from the UAE costs US$45 by DHL, more than half the Karl's price. Emery delivers free across the GCC in 1–3 days in the UAE; Lundi Paris ships from France by DHL express in 2–6 days.
Which should you choose?
Choose Lundi Paris if you want six slots, navy or cognac, or your initials engraved on it.
Choose Emery if you want RFID protection, pebbled full-grain chèvre, free delivery, a lifetime warranty and 100 days to decide, for AED 35 less.
