Leather: what each brand tells you
The Emery briefcase is vegetable-tanned full-grain calf leather from LWG-certified tanneries. Full-grain is the top layer of the hide with its natural surface left on. It's the strongest grade, and it builds a patina instead of wearing out. Vegetable tanning uses plant tannins, so the leather softens and deepens in colour over the years.

Laptop fit and layout
This is where Nappa Dori has the edge. The Camden takes laptops up to 16 inches, so a MacBook Pro 16" fits. The Emery takes up to 15.5 inches, which covers a MacBook Air 15" and anything smaller, but not a 16". The Camden is also slimmer at about 6.4 cm deep against our 8 cm, and its luggage strap slides over a trolley handle, which helps if you fly often.

Warranty, returns and delivery
This is where the difference is biggest. Emery gives the briefcase a lifetime warranty, delivers free anywhere in the GCC, and gives you 100 days to return it. Nappa Dori's UAE site offers 15 days to return an unused item with its tags, doesn't accept returns on sale items, and charges delivery by weight. We couldn't find a warranty on their UAE site.
For a bag you'll carry every working day for years, the warranty is worth weighing as much as the price.
