If you're choosing between the Emery Alden RFID Wallet and the Bellroy Hide & Seek, here's the short answer. Bellroy gives you a clever layout with a hidden coin pouch, a choice of nine colours and a well-known name. Emery gives you vegetable-tanned full-grain leather inside and out, a lifetime warranty and free GCC delivery, for about AED 150 less.
We make the Alden, so we're not neutral. We've stuck to what each brand publishes, and we've been clear about where Bellroy does better.

Leather and lining
The Alden is vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, which is the top layer of the hide with its natural surface left on. It's lined in leather too, so there's no fabric inside to fray. It softens and darkens with use. If you prefer the pebbled look, the Alden in chèvre is the same wallet in goat leather.
Bellroy uses leather from gold-rated Leather Working Group tanneries and lists the Hide & Seek as 70% leather and 25% recycled polyester. That makes it light and thin, and Bellroy also offers it in a leather alternative. Both brands buy from LWG-certified tanneries. Our leather glossary explains what that means.
Layout
This is where Bellroy is strongest. The Hide & Seek has four quick-access card slots, a separate section that keeps business cards flat, a hidden pocket for notes and a coin pouch. Bellroy also makes it in two heights so different currencies fit.
The Alden keeps it simple: 8 to 12 cards, one cash compartment and two flat pockets, with no coin pouch. If you carry coins every day, the Bellroy is the better fit. If you mostly pay by card and carry a few notes, the Alden does the job with less going on.
RFID
Both wallets block RFID readers from scanning your contactless cards at close range.
Warranty and after-sales
The Alden comes with a lifetime warranty, free delivery across the GCC and 100 days to return it. Bellroy gives three years on materials and workmanship and ships to the UAE within two business days.
Which should you choose?
Choose Bellroy if you carry coins, want lots of sections, or want a colour beyond black and brown.
Choose Emery if you want full-grain leather inside and out, a simple wallet that ages well, a lifetime warranty and a lower price.
