The 104 opens out fully, so you see every card and note from above instead of digging. It's light, at 65 g, and Grams28 publishes its weight. It comes in three colours in stock, including dark green. Grams28 names its tannery, Gruppo Mastrotto, and its leather is LWG-certified. It has 150 reviews on its product page, and you can see Grams28 at stockists in Dubai Mall, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Kuwait.
Where Emery is ahead
The Alden is AED 139 cheaper and holds more: 8 to 12 cards against six, with a cash compartment and two flat pockets. It has RFID protection, which Grams28 doesn't mention for the 104. It's vegetable-tanned full-grain leather from LWG-certified tanneries, lined in leather. Grams28 describes the 104's leather as pebbled bovine leather, a textured finish. The terms differ most. Emery's warranty on the Alden is lifetime. Grams28's warranty page says wallets aren't covered by its lifetime warranty "since they are consumable products". For a product that arrives defective, it asks you to email photos and says it will "rectify the issue". Emery gives you 100 days to return or exchange the Alden. Grams28 gives 30 days from delivery, and you pay the return shipping. Its returns page says that cost comes off the refund. Its separate refund-policy page says refunds are made "less 10% for fees/expenses", and that Grams28 pays return shipping on defective items.
