If you're choosing between the Emery Alden RFID Wallet and the Ryoko Jos RFID Bifold Wallet, you're looking at two leather bifolds that both block contactless card skimming. The Jos can be monogrammed with your name, has a hidden pocket for cash, and uses oil pull-up leather with a rich, worn-in look. The Alden costs a little over half as much (AED 210 against AED 390), tells you exactly what it holds (8 to 12 cards), is lined in leather, and comes with a lifetime warranty and free delivery across the GCC.
We make the Alden, so we're not neutral. Everything below comes from what each brand publishes on its website, and we've included where Ryoko comes out ahead.

Where Ryoko is ahead
You can have your name monogrammed on the Jos for AED 35, which makes it an easy personal gift. Emery doesn't offer personalisation. The Jos also has a hidden pocket inside for cash you want to keep separate. Its oil pull-up leather lightens where it bends and darkens with handling, so it looks lived-in quickly. Some people love that.
Where Emery is ahead
The Alden is AED 180 cheaper. It holds 8 to 12 cards, with a cash compartment and two flat pockets for receipts, and it's lined in leather. The leather is smooth vegetable-tanned full-grain from LWG-certified tanneries, which develops a slow, even patina. If you prefer a pebbled grain, the Alden RFID Wallet in chèvre is AED 320, still less than the Jos. Our leather glossary explains the terms.
Emery's warranty on the Alden is lifetime, against Ryoko's two years. Emery delivers free across the GCC; Ryoko delivers free in the UAE and prices delivery elsewhere by destination. Ryoko's refund policy page offers 100 days but its product pages say 15 days, and a monogrammed wallet can't be returned.
Which should you choose?
Choose Ryoko if you want your name on it, a hidden cash pocket, or the look of oil pull-up leather.
Choose Emery if you want to know exactly what it holds, a leather lining, a lifetime warranty and free GCC delivery, for a little over half the price.
